In an event held on Tuesday, the 17th, at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS) in Porto Alegre, bringing together the press, awardees, partners, and authorities, the Amanh\u00e3 Group and PwC Brazil revealed the ranking of the 500 LARGEST IN THE SOUTH 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening panel at the award ceremony, titled &#8220;How Innovation Transforms Southern Businesses,&#8221; featured three leaders and important figures in innovation in their respective states: Marcel Malczewski, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Copel and TM3 Capital Fund (PR); Daniel Leipnitz, Chairman of Acate&#8217;s Board (SC); and S\u00e9rgio Carvalho, CEO of RandonCorp (RS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the 2023 edition, <strong>Tuper S\/A<\/strong>, a company with over 50 years of experience in providing steel solutions for various market segments, secured the 122nd position among the largest companies in the southern region of Brazil and the 28th position among the top one hundred companies in Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;<em>In addition to being an important national recognition, this achievement demonstrates the dedication of all Tuper employees. It is considered the most important regional ranking of companies in Brazil and uses various indicators to list the largest and most competitive companies in the Southern Region, including the leaders in Paran\u00e1, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, as well as highlights in various other sectors of the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The list is compiled based on the Weighted Value of Greatness (VPG). This index, which defines the overall classification of companies in the ranking of the 500 largest in the South, reflects the size and performance of companies in a balanced manner.
