Annually, the magazines Amanh\u00e3 and Valor Econ\u00f4mico conduct a survey of the largest national industries, resulting in rankings of companies that become references in various sectors of the country’s economy. This year, Tuper once again appears in both lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 2021 list by the magazine Amanh\u00e3, conducted in partnership with PwC Brazil, which reveals the best-positioned companies in the states of Paran\u00e1, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, Tuper ranks 193rd among the largest in the South and 45th among the largest in Santa Catarina. The index used as a criterion for determining the companies’ positions on the list is unique, called the Weighted Value of Greatness (VPG), which reflects, in a balanced way, the size and performance of the companies considering the three main balance sheet numbers: shareholders’ equity (weight of 50% in the calculation), net revenue (weight of 40%), and net profit (weight of 10%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth noting that the region where Tuper is headquartered confirms its vocation for growth, as four other industries in the city of S\u00e3o Bento do Sul also gained significant positions on the list. The five companies, in 2020, totaled a net revenue of R$ 2.329 billion, representing a growth volume of 7.3% over the revenue achieved in the previous year. Additionally, this list has been considered the most important regional ranking of companies for 31 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Valor 1000 annual report, organized by Valor Econ\u00f4mico magazine, one of Brazil’s most important vehicles for economics, finance, and business, Tuper appears in the 595th position on the list of the thousand largest companies in Brazil. The award, now in its 21st edition, applies criteria for analysis, including net income, EBITDA margin, sustainable growth, return on equity, activity margin, current liquidity, asset turnover, and interest coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2021, Santa Catarina increased the presence of listed companies in the Valor 1000 Ranking of the Largest Companies in Brazil, with 51 businesses, a number higher than the 46 listed in the 2020 edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
