Tuper produces carbon steel pipes, welded according to
the HFIW – High Frequency Induction Welding process,
used in the oil and gas industry, in several transport
applications, by means of API 5L pipes, and also in
production and exploitation (OCTG), with
API 5CT pipes.
Tuper counts on specific technology to apply external coating on tubes used in gas pipelines, oil pipelines, slurry pipelines and other uses in which the product is submitted to adverse environments.
The coating options include triple layer polyethylene (3LPE), triple layer polypropylene (3LPP) and double or single layer fusion bonded epoxy (FBE). The coating provides anti-corrosive and/or mechanical protection to the tubes according to the application requirements.
