Through Tuper’s pipes, over 50 years of history flow. And those who visit the company’s booth at Concrete Show 2022 will be able to see all this know-how from one of the largest steel processors in Latin America translated into solutions for structural, industrial, and conduit pipes.

With an annual production capacity of over 800,000 tons, the company invests in and applies technology from the machinery of the pipe formers to other stages of the process, as well as having a specialized team and in-house laboratories for the development and testing of a wide variety of pipes.

Structural Pipes:

Made of carbon steel and welded by the HFIW – High-Frequency Induction Welding process, the pipes are available in square, rectangular, or round formats in various sizes.

When used in construction, steel pipes have proven to be an economical solution, reducing the use of pillars and foundations, and they can be part of mixed structures (filled with concrete), gaining resistance to compressive forces.

They are designed for use in industrial, commercial, and residential buildings, as well as infrastructure projects such as bridges, walkways, airports, sports facilities, among other applications.

Conduit Pipes

In compliance with NBR5580 and NBR5590 standards and with INMETRO compulsory certification, Tuper’s conduit pipes are designed to ensure maximum efficiency in the conveyance of fluids, water, gas, compressed air, oil, and steam.

The ends of this type of pipe may have specific characteristics depending on the project’s needs. They can be smooth, beveled, have threaded ends (BSP or NPT thread), or have GROOVED ends (featuring grooves compatible with rigid or flexible cold connections).

In addition to black and galvanized finishes, they can also be painted to provide protection and fulfill a regulatory identification function for applications:

Red: fire protection network; Yellow: gas network; Blue: compressed air network; Green: conduit network.

Galvanized Rigid Conduits

Used for both the conduction of electrical wires and cables and for underground and overhead installations in industrial works, such as refineries and steel mills, for example, galvanized rigid conduits are manufactured in lengths of 3 and 6 meters.

API 5L Conduit Pipes

Aimed at the oil, minerals, gas, and fuel markets, they are made of carbon steel, with dimensions ranging from 5 9/16” to 12 3/4”.

They can receive a special triple-layer polyethylene coating (3LPE), triple-layer polypropylene (3LPP), or double or single layers of thermally cured epoxy (FBE). This procedure guarantees anti-corrosive and mechanical protection according to the project’s needs.

All of these product ranges will be part of the attractions at the Tuper booth during the 13th Edition of the Concrete Show, along with many other solutions aimed at the construction industry.
